Audio Decode
This page sets out the legal side of what we do, in plain English.

We won't pass your data/audio to any third party unless you give us written permission to do so.
An E.G. Systems company.
Data Security.

Our preference is to send and receive all audio data by secure means, so that it is encrypted in transit, and only you can obtain the results of our work, and it can't go missing. If the format of the recording (magnetic tape, CD, etc.) means that it can't be sent electronically, then we ask you to send it by secure courier, with tracking and recorded delivery. We will normally send you the result of our work by electronic means, but if you insist that we send it in the mail, we will use tracked recorded delivery, and charge you for this service.
Confidentiality.

Our service is totally confidential for the client. We will not use any personal information gleaned from audio recordings, or client data, in any way, other than to provide the client with our services. We will not provide any information, or audio, to any third party (subject to normal national legal compliance) unless the client explicitly asks us to do so in writing. During the process of our work, all data is held on encrypted storage, and deleted once the job is over unless the client wishes us to store a safety copy to safeguard their data. Data will be stored on encrypted storage. However, we take no responsibility for loss of stored data, or the result of that loss. We haven't lost any client data yet!
Reliability.

We provide each client, upon request, with a statement that the end-result of our work has not been tampered with in any way which will remove, or add, legal information that was not in the original. This means that, should you need to present the information in court, or other legal situation, you can provide the court with our tamper-proof statement to back up your claims.
